Wygnanie z raju(1966)

剧情简介

Jerzy Zitzman’s Exile From Paradise is one of those rare works of animation blessed with both exceptional craftsmanship and eloquent writing. Zitzman brings to life a script penned by influential philosopher Leszek Kołakowski in this visual essay on society’s changing views on religion and retreat from spirituality – all tinged with a dose of intelligent humor. The biblical account of Adam and Eve’s casting out from the garden of Eden is among the most widely interpreted of human stories – Zitzman brings the archetypal figures into the present in the form of bureaucrats and the devil takes the role of a deputy director in a Genesis story recast in the drab institutional realities that socialist Poland knew all too well.
