这部纪录片描绘了1980年中国一间拥有超过6000名工人的工厂。这间工厂每年将原材料棉花制成9000万码的优质布料。在这部影片中我们可以看到工人的社群、住宅、娱乐、教育设施以及全部属于工厂的财产。这部影片呈现出了与西方世界完全不同的生活方式。 　　This documentary depicts a factory in China in 1980 with more than 6,000 workers. It produces 90 million yards of high quality fabrics made of raw cotton every year. In this film we can see the workers' communities, residences, entertainment, educational facilities and all the property belonging to the factory. The film shows a completely different way of life from the Western world.
