剧情简介
One of Borzage's remarkable romantic weepies, dealing -like "A Farewell to Arms", "Three Comrades" and "The Mortal Storm"- with the trascendent power of love to survive in times of horrific spiritual and economic poverty, delivering a vivid and poignant picture of life in Germany just before Hitler's takeover and focuses on a young married couple struggling to survive in the country's nightmarish.
