巴拉圭与阿根廷合拍的首部电影, 是一部有关1932-1935年巴拉圭与玻利维亚之间因争夺格兰查科油田而发动的战争的纪录片. 　　1924~1928年，阿亚拉（Eligio Ayala）总统执政期间，巴拉圭经济发展较大。1928年，巴拉圭与玻利维亚为争夺格兰查科油田发生冲突。1932~1935年，格兰查科战争。巴拉圭方指挥官是埃斯蒂加里比亚上校（Colonel Estigarribia），玻利维亚方指挥官是德国军官奎特（General Kundt）。巴拉圭赢得了战争的胜利。 　　The war of Northern Chaco between Bolivia and Paraguay (1932-1935) was the most important confrontation in South America during the twentieth century, and posibbly one of the events less analyzed. Two armies, more than 100,000 men each, spent three years in combat. The results were 90,000 casualties and the impoverishment of both countries. Argentinean cameraman Roque Funes filmed the first battle of this war, in Fort Boquerón, on Paraguayan soil next to the border.
