Deutsches Land in Afrika(1939)

剧情简介

On the eve of the Second World War, this Nazi propaganda film was devised to convey to the German public the idea of a long established, fully justified and eager to be brought back to life colonial domain in Eastern, South-Western and Western German Africa (respectively, today's Tanzania, Namibia, Cameroun and Togo). Resorting to heroic and militaristic language to portray the colonists and their deeds and an utterly patronizing and racist language to portray the "natives", the documentary presents a series of themes related to the historical German colonial policy. Footage include historical material from all former German colonies.
