剧情简介
The extraordinary and moving story of D-Day, through the eyes of those who took part. Presenter Charles Wheeler, a Royal Marine in 1944 and a Normandy veteran, offers a personal perspective on the first 24 hours of operation Overlord. He interviews French civilians as well as British and German servicemen, who revisit the locations where they lost friends and experienced some of the most intense moments of their lives.
